About Me

About Me

I have a flexible approach to meet  the differing needs of the people who come to see me. I work in a confidential and sensitive way that is open, relaxed and supportive.

It can be a difficult step to recognise that we need help and to seek it. Our society coaches us to be independent and self-reliant, to 'just get on with it'. Of course, what this attitude doesn't take into account is that, as human beings, we all depend on each other for support and understanding in tough times.  I will offer you an Initial Consultation where you can tell me your story and we can talk about your hopes and aspirations. If you decide that you would like to continue, we can book an appointment for ongoing counselling.

Generally, I see individuals and couples once a week for 60 minutes, though everyone is different and we will agree on what is most useful for you.  I strive to be as flexible as possible according to your particular needs and wishes.

I am originally from Seattle, Washington, USA and have lived in London and Surrey for over30 years.  Prior to training to become a counsellor, I worked in the City for 14 years and have extensive knowledge and experience of life's pressures and complications. I am a mother of adult twins.
